MFPS Signs Agreement With Movie Producer

MFPS to assist with new paranormal film!

MFPS has reached an agreement with a midwest film producer to become the official technical consultants in the making of a new paranormal film to be shot on location in Ohio. MFPS will work closely with the actors and director to insure that the terms, concepts, usage of equipment, protocol, procedures and more are accurately portrayed in the making of this film.

Some of the MFPS staff will be cast in the film to add validity and reality to the areas of production needed. The film company will begin shooting the movie in July. As soon as details can be posted we will bring you those updates.

 


 

New!!! - MFPS ParaLab Division

MFPS Announces New ParaLab Division

Great News! The Munroe Falls Paranormal Society is in the final planning stages to launch a new division called MFPS ParaLabs! This division will be overseen by Debbie, Eric, Anthony and Scott and during its operation will conduct paranormal experiments in a laboratory setting with real test subjects, scientific equipment, environmental settings, calibration data, log data, full video, audio, data logging and more. There will be scientists, engineers, meteorologists, psychologists and more working on these experiments which will then be publicized to a website when compiled and complete. More information will be released soon!

Episode 9 - Ghost Alley Released

Episode 9 of Mysterious Midwest has been released for both Web viewing and TV through Time Warners Local On Demand Service, Channel 411. In this episode MFPS investigates one of the oldest bowling alleys in Ohio. Ghost Alley was named because of the history of paranormal activity that has been recorded over the years.

Charles Wilson was a maintenance man for the pin setting machines during the 1940's. Charlie died by accident when he fell into a machine during its operation. Charlie may be one of the several spirits that roam the alleys and corridors of Ghost Alley.

Episode 8 - Moundsville State Penitentiary Released

Episode 8 of Mysterious Midwest has been released for both Web viewing and TV through Time Warners Local On Demand Service, Channel 411. This episode was shot on location at the former West Virginia State Penitentiary in Moundsville, WV. The prison was built in a castellated Gothic architectural style and was built by prisoners starting in the late 1800's. Over 998 men were killed though murder, suicide, hangings, electrocution and more during it's operation until finally be closed down in 1995.

Moundsville was listed in the top 10 most violent US prisons and was home to some of the most dangerous criminals in US history. The prison is considered by many to be extremely haunted! The investigation by MFPS reveals a rich history of tragic death and suffering and opens the door to the possibility of spirits that may still be trapped behind these prison walls.
